Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is holiday celebrated on the 4th Thursday of every November. It isn't an exclusive religious holiday, it is day to celebrate thanks and share. Americans aren't the only people to celebrate Thanksgiving either, and there is more than one way to celebrate it. For example, places like Japan, Germany and Australia celebrate it but they do it in a different way then we do. In Japan, labor is commemorated and thanks are exchanged, and in Germany there is a religious festival.
The history of this holiday is rooted in America, and the exchange between Natives and Pilgrims. Although in the past religion has had something to with this holiday, this is not the case today. It is thought to be a day where harvest changes.
