I believe as long as you think you're heading the right way in life in then you should be fine. Sure in some situations it's best to begin with the end in mind, but to use the advice for all life is ridiculous. I agree with this idea, but I'd only apply to school and work situations. Along knowing where the end is, you also need some kind of push or motivation to keep going to your goal. Just like in football there are some obstacles, people. So this is a great piece of advice, and to understand it you must have some sort of common sense of human interaction.
