VETERAN'S DAY

We celebrate this day as a memorial to US veterans and victims of all wars. We set aside this day to honor soldiers that have given their lives to protect this, whether they are with us or not. It is celebrated on the 11th day of November and was formerly known as Armistice Day. The day has some significant history behind it because it was the day when Germany signed an armistice to end World War 1, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. It is important to show honor because it is a day of remembrance of our fallen soldiers and soldiers who have fought in past, or anyone who has been a part of military personnel. I believe it is holiday that should always be important and shouldn't be dismissed with things such discounts and giveaways. I think veterans deserve more.
