I agree with this statement because if you don't make a good name for yourself ( in school or work) people won't respect you or befriend you. If you go around making negative comments to others you'll have a bad name(reputation). If you do the right thing on the other hand, and do something like help others in need, then you will most likely have a good name. The same goes with your attitude towards things. Let's someone has a negative view on life in general, most people would not like to hang around that person. However if this person changed their ways and stayed positive they will get more people to respect them and honor them much like Coach K. He has made a name for himself, not among people who watch his team play, but also with the teams he has coached in the past. When you leave behind a memory of positivity, then your legacy and anything associated with your name will be immediately associated with positivity.
